![]() pam w. (181) | Wednesday February 20, 2013, 6:28 am VERY well-written. Far too many of us are stuck on stage one! I don't think it would be so terrible if humans disappeared...look at the mess we've created. I DO think it's a horrible shame we're taking so many perfectly adapted species with us! ![]() Brian M. (134) | Wednesday February 20, 2013, 9:03 am I keep going back and forth between grief and anger. Maybe there are too many people in denial, but I also think that, despite large numbers of people who are completely aware of just how horrific this environmental crisis is and will be(much sooner than anyone want to consider)...I still think the real problem is our leaders in business and government who value profit and power so much more than human survival that they are willing to gamble with all of our lives if it adds a few billion more dollars to all of their pockets. They are completely insane with greed. We need to be staging massive direct actions in every city, every single day, until our voices are heard, our demands are met, and our leaders come to their senses and take action to save this world if there is to be any chance of the seventh generation even being born. We need to keep acting up and speaking out until either they come to their senses and do something to save us all...or we come to our senses and get new leaders.
